My son is going to be a senior this upcoming year and this past summer, he wanted to go to ASM Materials, Metallurgy, and Forensics Engineering Institute in Rapid City, SD. We reluctantly sent him, but were amazed at all the wonderful things he learned and did while he was there. He had hands-on learning in an educational environment about materials, metals, building and engineering. It was as if he has gone away for a semester of college. Advanced Setting Camp - University of Texas at Austin
The Advanced Setting Camp is designed for athletes entering grades 7-12 and is ideal for athletes who want to train strictly at the setter position. This position specific camp focuses on all aspects of setting and is led by Head Coach Jerritt Elliott. The skills taught at this camp include hand position, footwork, jump setting, defense, and transition. Campers will also learn offensive systems and setting strategies. Dancing With Degas - Spiva Center for the Arts
In this interdisciplinary class, students will look at and analyze the work of Edgar Degas. Students will experiment with similar postures, movements and phrases in relation to Degas work. This is a great opportunity for students to re-interpret the artwork through movement. No dance experience required. Students should wear comfortable clothing and socks. Advanced Emergency Vet-Gayton Baptist - Gayton Baptist Church
Campers take veterinary medicine to the next level! Our young Vets will learn how to give an injection to an orange, practice suturing on our suture glove, perform a fetal pig heart dissection, and will examine animal parasitic diseases.
