Transportation and all admission fees to destinations included. One day a week will be spent at the park district participating in fun games, activities and guest speakers. Ever wanted to learn how to create your own mobile app? Well here is your chance with App Creation and with Lafayettes Tech Coordinator, Mr. Wieand! Students will begin by learning some basics of computer science and block coding. As students develop skills we will begin using MITs App Inventor 2 to create apps compatible with Android devices. Does your childs room need a makeover? This camp allows children to create beautiful pieces that add glam to their room! Each piece becomes a one-of-a-kind creation as campers get to combine many different artistic mediums. They learn canvas painting by completing a monogrammed painted canvas ready to hang. They learn the art of mosaics by creating their own message board. They learn pottery painting and glazing techniques by creating their very own tissue box cover.
