KID'S CAMP - NOVEMBER 5th & 6th Kids OFF SCHOOL? Bring them to Pea Kamp! Drop them off with us and they can learn, play, and make HOLIDAY PROJECTS AND GIFTS FOR THE FAMILY with ceramics and with clay! Kids will also watch educational programs about ceramics and clay , and will also participate in games and crafts. Sessions are full day (8-4) or half day (mornIng 8-12, or afternoon 12-4), you can do both days, one day, half days or full days, it's up to you! Prices are $80 full day, or $45 for half day. Ages 8-13, Hands-On, 4 hour class $30 Our school doors aren’t closed today. We’d love to educate your child(ren) on their day off with a skill set that will be used for decades to come—cooking! All participants will be shopping, prepping, cooking, eating and cleaning. Most food is made from scratch and in season! Drum! Percussion Camp for Absolute Beginners - MacPhail Center for Music - Minneapolis
Experience the fun of laying down a basic rock groove or the joy and energy of a large ensemble of mallet instruments. In this fantastic new camp, students will get a chance to try a variety of percussion instrument while building basic playing skills that will help prepare them to play in their school band or orchestra. Any student can join this camp, even if you have no previous experience playing an instrument. After 5 fun-filled days packed with lots of playing time on a variety of instruments, students will have a chance to show off their new skills for family and friends at a recital at the end of camp. Chefs will immerse themselves in every step of the process: choose the concept and name, design the decor, create a menu and logo, learn restaurant jobs and etiquette, create, cook, and serve their signature dishes to friends and family. The Elite Spring Clinic is for the serious athlete who has aspirations to play at the college level. The sessions will focus on individual skill development, team tactics and team play. Campers will receive high level instruction at every skill or game station from a coach who understands what it takes to play at the college level. Come explore the park and have an opportunity to enjoy the nature and scenery this spring break! The 4-day camp offers children an outdoor recreation experience filled with science and nature, sports, arts and crafts and exciting outings. Using the parks features, children will have the opportunity to try activities including bocce ball, beach volleyball, horse shoes, walking the trails and fishing.
