Youth Summer Circus Camp! - Austin, TX
We are so excited to be launching our brand new youth program with 2 exciting new offerings, Elemental Circus Camp and Sunday open level youth classes. Sign up for one or both weeks of Elemental Circus Camp this summer. Youth of ages 6-16 will undergo a circus adventure including age and skill appropriate lessons in performance, aerial arts, tumbling, balance and coordination, juggling, dance and magic. Youth will be grouped by age, and do not need to have any previous circus experience. With the exception of students advanced in aerial, gymnastics, or dance training, who will have the opportunity to submit an audition video to be grouped in an advanced mixed age group covering material more appropriate to their level. Pre-teen Improv Summer Camp (Session 1) - Norfolk, VA
This camp is open to children ages 7 to 12. Students will explore the key elements of both long and short form improvisation. The children will play numerous improv games which will serve to develop and enhance their public-speaking, social, and team-building skills. This camp will be conducted in a non-judgmental environment where the students will build confidence, make friends, and most importantly… have fun. Snacks will be provided on a daily basis and there will be a pizza-party for lunch on Friday. The camp concludes on Saturday with all students performing in a graduation show on the stage of the Push Comedy Theater. Each student will receive a Push Comedy Theater T-shirt and be eligible to perform in the 5th Annual Norfolk Comedy Festival in late September 2016. We will have 3 sessions throughout the summer. Session1: July 11th - 15th, 9:30am to noon Session 2: August 1st - 5th, 9:30 to noon Session 3: August 22nd - 26th, 9:30 to noon These are all beginner level sessions, no experience is necessary. Tution is $200 for new students (includes a t-shirt), $190 for returning students.

Teen Week Overnight Camp - Fort Worth, TX
At YMCA Camp Carter Overrnight Camp, campers live, play and build deep bonds with their peers. Campers must rely on the others in their cabin groups to share daily responsibilities. Each cabin is led by a senior counselor with overnight camp experience and each unit is led by an upper class college student studying education, recreation or another appropriate field of study. Campers will spend time with their cabin group, making new friends, exploring the property and participating in all kinds of fun activities like climbing the 60′ climbing wall or hiking to see Old Man Tucker’s truck. Cabin groups will come together as units during the week and participate in camp fires, cookouts and group competitions and games. Everyone in camp will meet for meals, messages and devotions and to sing camp songs at the top of their lungs. YMCA Camp Carter Overnight Camp runs from Sunday afternoon until Friday evening and includes 15 meals and overnight accommodations in a fully climate controlled cabins with lots of supervision by our well trained staff.

Food Cart Freewheelers will again bring campers around the city with one great ambition: to find the best lunch, while exploring the foodie side of Portland through its many food cart offerings. Campers ride to a different food cart pod everyday and learn to budget and plan their spending. Campers can look forward to broadening their understanding of cycling and cuisine, and experiencing the empowerment of earning a hot lunch with a week of riding. Calling all young composers! Heres a camp for you to meet other young composers and share your passion for creating music. Gain the tools you need to grow as a composer. Study the works of living and historic composers to understand how other composers think and solve problems. Receive coaching from MacPhail composition faculty on recent and current works. Hear your compositions performed by professional musicians. You will be asked to submit a score for review prior to the camp. Space is limited, register early! Students in the Composition Camp may opt to also enroll the in the optional Composition Camp Elective: Theory and Counterpoint for an additional fee.
