FCYD Camp is proof positive that being diagnosed with diabetes means you have to live a sheltered life. We tried to tell that to our daughter all the time but she never really embraced the idea until she found herself surrounded by kids in her same situation. June 14-15, 9am-noon; June 14-15, 1pm-4pm; June 23-24, 1pm-4pm at Oak Grove Park Adventure Camp, ages 7-9. June 21-22; June 28-29; July 13-14; July 27-28 from 9am-2pm at Oak Grove Park. Introduction to Shooting, ages 10-12. July 19-20; July 21-22 from 9am-3pm, Big Sioux Recreation Area south of Hawarden. Hunter Education Overnight Camp ages 13-15. Coon Rapids - Week 7 - AKA ARCHERY Week - Coon Rapids Ice Center
Welcome to back to AKA Archery Week. AKA Archery Week was once again a hit in 2015 and this years will be even better! Thanks to John "Jack" Wachlarowicz (SCV-MDHA Board of Directors & MN DNR Hunter Education Instructor) and his professional instructors and the MN DNR, this is a weeks opportunity of a lifetime for any kid!!! Featured Field Trip - St. Paul Saints Baseball Game, St. Paul FYI - The actual day camp runs from 9am-4pm though kids are welcome to get dropped off as early as 7am and picked up as late as 6pm. High School - Baker Rink (Check-In Location)
The Princeton University Girls Ice Hockey High School is designed for High School (entering grades 9-12) players whose aspiration is to play competitive hockey at the collegiate level. This camp features 14 hours of ice time. Morning sessions will focus on the fundamentals of skill development and power-skating. Players will learn proper body position, edge control, and how to lengthen their stride. Puck protection, passing and scoring will be skills taught. The afternoon session will consist of and team play/concepts. Players will learn all aspects of team play and will develop skills through collegiate style practices. Coaching will parallel standards we teach to our college team. Games will be played Tuesday night, Wednesday night, and Thursday morning. Our Camp program is extremely comprehensive covering: compulsory and optional skills, basics, dance, strength, and flexibility. Our camps are designed for all gymnasts, from beginner to elite. Our day camp can accommodate all gymnasts over the age of 6. Our student to coach ratio of 8 to 1, ensures that your child will have a great experience with some of the best club and collegiate coaches from around the country. Campers train in the renovated Ford Center Gym. We have added a 50ft Tumble Track, in ground tramp and a new loose foam bar pit.
