Ed Lee - Story Structure for Sitcom Pilots and Specs - iO West
Television writer and iO West instructor Ed Lee will discuss how television episodes - including pilots - are structured, and how you can apply it to your writing so your television scripts can have the best possible impact on your audience. Ed Lee has written for several TV shows including Norm, "The Drew Carey Show, Class of 3000, and "Are You There, Chelsea?", and has worked in punch-up rooms for many sitcom pilots. Hermosa Beach - Restaurant Camp I - St. Cross Episcopal Church Kitchen
Calling all budding chefs, entrepreneurs, and restaurant enthusiasts! Open and operate your very own restaurant in Kitchen Kids popular Restaurant Camp! Chefs will immerse themselves in every step of the process: choose the concept and name, design the decor, create a menu and logo, learn restaurant jobs and etiquette, create, cook, and serve their signature dishes to friends and family. Throughout the week kids will also prepare delicious recipes and safely learn kitchen fundamentals, palate development, and culinary techniques. FUNdamental Youth Football Camp - SHS Stadium
The Seymour Football FUNdamental Youth Football Camp will take place May 25-27th at Bulleit Stadium (SHS Campus). Wednesdays camp will be from 4-6PM, while Thursday and Fridays camp will be from 8:00-10:00AM. The camp is open to any student who will be in Kindergarten through 6th grade during the 2016-2017 school year. Pre-registered campers will receive a camp shirt. Walk-up registrations will be accepted. However, walk-up registration will not be guaranteed a camp shirt. Camp shirts will be issued to walk-up registrations on a first come, first served basis. The Seymour Football FUNdamental Youth Camp will introduce and refine the basic fundamental skills of the game of football. This is a NON-CONTACT camp. Proper techniques of blocking, throwing, catching, ball carrying, ball-security and route-running will be taught and developed. Safe and proper tackling techniques will be taught using padded practice dummies. No tackling of any players will take place during this camp. The emphasis of this camp is to develop basic skills and to have fun while learning the game of football. Surf Camp - Little Groms PM - Moonlight Beach
This camp is dedicated to our next generation of surfers and watermen who are just getting ready to hit the water, but may be a bit scared. The focus of this camp is teaching kids to swin in the ocean, bodyboard, and surf while also educating them on how to stay safe and respect the ocean. Campers learn kid-friendly messages about nutrition, physical activity, and good health that are simple, interactive and fun.
