Prerequisite: Taste of Optis The Second Taste is meant to build upon the foundation of sailing skills built while your student was in the Taste of Optis program. Take the next step in the Taste of process and add another week long program to reinforce parts of the boat, the sailing lingo, and overall comfort on the water. This camp is a wonderful opportunity for campers to learn basic sewing skills and make fun, cute projects. Youll make machine-sewn projects that you can take home and show off to your friends and family. If this is your first time sewing, well start you off with some great beginner projects. Makers Workshop - CuriOdyssey
Recommended for children ages 8-12 years old. The Maker movement emphasizes learning by doing and encourages creativity, invention, and modeling. As the annual Maker Faire Bay Area occurs this month, we wanted to provide a workshop that captures the spirit of Making. Participants will be inspired as they work on a do it yourself (DIY) project supported by CuriOdyssey education staff. Sunflower Basketball Camp - Ages 11-13 - Olathe Community Center
This is a fundamentally-based camp for boys and girls ages 6-13 focusing on skill development through daily drill periods, contests, and competitive games. Instruction is provided by High School coaches and current and former college basketball players. Camp Director, Brett McFall, is an Olathe South High School grad and 1997 Mr. Kansas Basketball. Brett was a 4-year player at the University of Wyoming (1997-2001) and played professionally in Europe and the USA (2002-2004). He has 13-years of coaching experience and is currently the head coach at Shawnee Mission South High School. Each participant will receive a camp t-shirt. Kick Off to Summer - Greensboro Day School
Kick Off to Summer $185.00 Rising BB-K(have to be at least 3 & potty trained) June 13-17 8:30am-2:00pm * In this camp will use traditional stories from around the world to help children understand the use of movement, voice, listening and concentration in creating characters for the stage. This is a developmentally appropriate introduction to theatre arts especially designed for children ages 6-9. The camp will conclude with a special demonstration performance in which the children will show the skills they have developed during the week through some of their favorite stories.
