LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Maple sugaring adventure! - Common Ground
Maple sugaring: February and March are sugaring season in Connecticut! The sap flows strongly on sunny mornings when it is just above freezing. Hopefully we will catch a sap run and taste some sap right from the tree! We will check out the Sugar Shack and see where the sap is boiled into syrup, make and eat some maple treats, and explore the forest for signs of spring. ********************************************************** Who: these classes are for children of all ages with a parent or caregiver (no drop-off option available for winter classes). Program fee: $15 for the first child ages 3 and up, $10 for each additional child (ages 3 and up). The sibling discount will be applied automatically when you register online. No charge for children ages 2 and under. Location: Common Ground, 358 Springside Ave, New Haven, CT 06515. Kid's Day Off Camp - Frederick, MD
Whether it's one day or a whole week, Camp Pump It Up is where it's at. Discover, explore, invent, and imagine! These themed camps are high-energy, fast-paced and just plain fun for kids. Kid's will spend part of the day playing on our gigantic inflatables and party of the day making new friends during interactive play, crafts, and hands-on activities. Camps are usually held on FCPS days off. Check our events calendar for camp dates. Kid's Clay Camp $25 - Session 2 Painting our Projects and Door signs -
Schools out and we have things to do ! Come hang with us for a few hours ! Ages 8 and up unless An adult is going to stay in the class. $25! Gets your child instructed project time in clay and a snack and a drink . Save $5 on registration when you have 3 or more students sign up . ( group discounts apply on the 3 student and up) We're only accepting 30 students per session. Well post the link on Monday . Session Two Class Details - This session student will Paint their previously hand built a bird bath and if they get done in time any bonus item we gifted them ! We're also painting door signs ! Step into the well-worn shoes of a detective or agent and uncover the science involved in evidence gathering and analysis. Explore forensic science through the eyes of crime solvers, using your powers of observation to reveal clues and solve cases. Blast Off! Rocketry - St. Paul Gym
This action packed camp focuses solely on rockets and the physics of rocket flight. Learn about model rocket design, aerodynamics, building, propulsion, launching, safety, and repair. Students build a variety of rockets to take home and take part in daily launches. Whether you are serious about model rockets or just a novice, this camp is a blast for boys and girls alike. Wet & Wild - GRACE Christian School
This GRACE camp is based on the theme of water. Each day the activities will be based on this theme. Our biggest field trip of the summer is to Wet n Wild waterpark. For increased safety, this will be a family trip. So plan on joining the fun:) We also swim at T.A.C. Then launch it in Lake Champlain on a deep-water mission that you help design.
