The Teen Girl Retreat, hosted by Wises Chapel Missionary Baptist Church of Pineville, Arkansas, will be March 11th-12th at Budd Creek Baptist Camp. Registration will be on the 11th 5:30-7:00. Summer 5 Days of Knight Camp for Kids - Battle of Agincourt - Portland
Kids day camp for the week of Aug 22nd through Aug. 26th Ages 7 through 12 - or first grade and up. Camp runs Monday through Thursday- 9:30am to 3:30pm Children should pack a lunch or bring money to buy food at the Subway in our parking lot. Before and after care are available for an additional fee - see below. Camp must be pre-registered. There are no refunds however arrangements can be made to transfer registration to a different child. Our program is focused on teaching historical arts connected to the martial culture of Europe in the time of the crusades and beyond to the 16th century. We teach history and real world skills related to the time and culture of Knighthood. This this course we will focus on the Battle of Agincourt.... a decisive time in history. The invasion took a muster of troops... a ship voyage... and then an overland campaign. This past year saw the Anniversary celebration of the Battle at European battle sites and museums. In addition... Learn the skills of Sword and Shield from documented historical texts Learn about European History and culture Play Medieval games Learn about heraldry and make your own shield with your own coat of arms Learn metalworking skills...

For the working parents, who don't have childcare the week after Christmas. Schools are closed, bring them to Revolution for martial art classes, field trips and Lots of fun! 2016 Gymnastics Camp at Prestige #1 - Botetourt County Recreation Department
Gymnastics camp at Prestige Gymnastics is the perfect opportunity to test out gymnastics or to get in a little extra practice! We will divide up beginners and intermediates at the time of class. This camp will work on a variety of drills and skills on all 4 Olympic events including vault, bars, beam and floor while gaining a multitude of knowledge in the basics of gymnastics. This camp is an awesome physical activity to get kids off of the couch and keep them moving during the summer! Aside from basic skills, we will be working on conditioning and gaining flexibility, balance and strength. 9 hours of instruction, snacks and a camp t shirt. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Must wear comfortable or athletic clothes, jeans not preferred. SpaceTimes Space Chase Camp is a hands-on, minds-on outer space adventure where kids get to work individually and in teams to try and track down an alien mad scientist determined to turn off the Sun. Its non-stop fun and learning as they test out their spaceship and rover piloting skills, go hands-on for some out-of-this-world classroom space science experiments and put on their space detective hats to try and figure out how to catch this crafty extraterrestrial. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please complete and submit the Child Enrollment Record prior to the first day of camp.
