For almost 3 decades YFC and Campus Life have been a safe haven for 1000’s of middle and high school students. From weekly meetings, amazing volunteers, Mr. Happy Band, JV Dares, small groups, Florida Breakaway, JV Camp, Winter Weekend, DCLA, Colorado Challenge, pig scrambles and a good game of seek and destroy, there hasn’t been a dull moment. This holiday season we are inviting our Campus Life Alumni to Come Home For Christmas. On Thursday December 17th we invite you to join us from 7pm-9pm for a Campus Life Alumni open house. This is a great opportunity to see how the building has changed, share Campus Life memories, and hear how Campus Life is still giving life to so many kid’s stories. Hughson High Football is hosting a Youth Camp. This camp provides a great opportunity for the youth in Hughson, 7 to 14 yrs old to learn the needed football skills to be successful. Participants will be coached by both the Hughson High Football coaching staff and the Hughson High Varsity Football Players. The camp will also end with some friendly competitions between teams. Middlesex Youth Camp - Middlesex Youth Camp
Middlesex Camp is divided into a Senior Camp and Junior / Pee-wee Camp. Each group has its own tent on the field which serves as a home base during the day. The camp features recreational activities including arts and crafts, science and nature, sports and other organized games, weekly theme-related activities, and special events. Pee-Wee campers will have swim lessons. Junior campers will have swim and tennis lessons. Senior Campers will have tennis lessons twice a week and free swim daily. On rainy days, camp is held in the clubhouse and also under an awning over a paddle court. The philosophy of the camp remains low key summer fun, giving the children a taste of the many different activities the club has to offer, but also a time to simply play and build friendships. Check In & Late Registration: 2:00-3:00 PM at Roadrunner Field, Camp Hours 3-9 PM Limit: 60 Purpose: 1) Evaluation Section run by qualified staff. Evaluation will include: Height, Weight, 40 yard dash, arm strength & bat speed tested on radar gun, agility & quickness. Scores will be given to each individual at the end of camp. 2) Divide campers into teams and play games at the UTSA Baseball & Softball fields. We will provide a game experience. Teams will be coached by a UTSA staff member or player. 3) Teaching and Drill Work included 4) Parents are welcome to stay and watch the games or get some errands run and come back for pick-up.
