PA, Allentown; Winter Uprising Faceoff Days - Iron Lakes Sports Club
Each Winter Uprising Faceoff Days will consist of warm ups, presentation and group practice of specific faceoff techniques as well as real time faceoffs. Faceoff techniques will include footwork, stance, hand position, primary move, counter move, GB play, wing play, stick work, and shooting instruction, etc. Individual player observation and instruction will occur throughout. Clinic will conclude with a skill appropriate king of the hill. Deaf Film Camp for Girls (Ages 12-16) - Camp Mark 7
Camp Mark Seven offers many development and leadership activities for the deaf youth and children programs. The program is designed to provide a sense of caring for one other, honesty, respect as well as enhancing each campers self confidence, self esteem, social skills, teamwork, initiative, work and play with other campers and camp staff. With this goal, campers will have fun with diverse camp activities. Program activities: Swimming and tubing. Paddle a canoe on the chosen rivers/lakes and camp out under the stars. Low ropes course. Diverse outdoor games. Arts & crafts. Hike different mountains. Evening Bonfires. Shopping in Old Forge and Inlet. Creative art Camps - Naturally Creative - Brookside Nature Center
Art in nature is everywhere, whether youre looking at the veining on a dragonflys wings or scrutinizing the filaments of a birds feather. In this camp well use all our senses and some helpful tools to explore natures gallery searching for inspiration for our own works of art. Using clay, paints, found materials, herbs, wood, sand and bits of fallen sky, campers will let their imagination run wild as they learn about the natural world and express themselves creatively.
