Children in Kindergarten-5th grade will learn pet ownership responsibilities, positive interaction, basic training techniques, and how to safely interact with puppies and dogs known to them and rules for animals unknown to them. Join Camp Fire for a daylong conference just for teens to build leadership skills that will prepare you for the school year ahead. Workshop sessions may include topics such as communication, goal setting, mindset management, teamwork, leadership style and the impact of service learning. This event is a great way to learn about Camp Fire programs like Teens in Action or the Spring Break Road Trips and kick-off the year ahead! Camp Fire will also present information about how to begin earning your Wohelo Award, the highest achievement in Camp Fire. Find your youth voice and learn to put it into action! Prior experience in Camp Fire, Camp Sealth, or program membership is not required. Lunch and all workshop materials will be provided by Camp Fire and is included in your registration fee. SoCal Youth Tri Series Kids Triathlon Open Water Swim Clinic - South Shores Park, Mission Bay
Our USA TRIATHLON CERTIFIED COACHES will make sure your child is well prepared for their Kids Triathlon Open Water Swim! We will practice sighting, navigating their swim course, pacing their energy, and practice entries and exits. Child must be able to swim 100 yds. Wetsuits highly recommended. Each child earns 1 point towards series awards for participating in the clinic. Plus, Healthy post event refreshments. EVENT DETAILS AND SCHEDULE Event email will be sent to all participants the week of the clinic with all the details. Clinic will start at 2:30p check in time and end at 4:30p. Park in South Shores lot, follow sidewalk to right. Meet on beach by blue topped gazebo across water from boat ramp.

Outdoor Explorers Camp for Ages 9-12 - Mt. Adams Institute
Outdoor Explorers Camp is a Cascade Mountain School day program that introduces students to the fun and excitement of outdoor adventures in the Trout Lake Valley. Students will get to explore an underground cave, build forts out of natural materials, hike to a secret natural spring and more. The entire camp will be spent outside! Parents are welcome to join in on the exploring! Day camps for ages 9-12 will be held Monday through Thursday from 1-4 pm each day. There will be optional transportation from Hood River, OR and Bingen, WA for an additional fee. The fee is $12.50/day/student for transport. 503-358-1949

By completing this camper packet, parents are acknowledging and agreeing to the following. Goochland County Parks, Recreation & Facilities Expectations for Summer Camps 1. Participants, their parents, and Parks, Recreation & Facilities staff are to be respectful to each other at all times. 2. Camper Information sheet must be completed and turned into Recreation Division by childs first day of camp. 3. All registrants must conduct themselves in a way in which they do not endanger their own safety or the safety of others. 4. Review and abide by the Departments guidelines for discipline. 5. The parent and/or guardian must provide or arrange for necessary transportation for their children both to and from the program sites. 6. Registrants are expected to be dressed appropriately and to properly participate in activities. 7. All personal belongings must be labeled. 8. Each child must bring a lunch, drink, and a snack daily. Sunscreen should also be brought. 9. Necessary medications should be dropped off in the Recreation Division main office to be kept during camp...
