"Campers" are students in grades TK-4. Camp 9:00am - 4:00pm (drop off begins at 8:00am). After Camp Care 4:00pm - 6:00pm SAVE when you register your student (grades TK-4) for the full week (T-F) of Camp & Daily After Care! The cost includes the fees for Camp plus 4 days of After Care. Mentors Kids Morning Class - Gilead ARP Church
For children ages 6weeks to 5 years, whose parent is mentoring a group of students during morning class times. NOTE: Later on in the registration you will be asked about the optional add-ons, which includes a per family insurance fee and a per family supply fee. Each family must pay an insurance fee of $30 and a community supply fee of $50. You DO NOT need to add this on for each child you register, but you MUST add this on for ONE of the children you register. Be sure to note which child you add on to. Summer Basketball Camp - Grades 2-4 - Olathe Community Center
Here is a great opportunity for boys and girls to learn new basketball skills and improve on existing skills, all while getting a workout. Camp Director, Sean Birdsong, has been around the game of basketball for most of his life. The son of former NBA All-Star, Otis Birdsong, Sean played locally at Bonner Springs High School and collegiately at Lincoln University in Jefferson City, MO. Sean has also played at the professional level in the CBA, PBL, and NBA D-League workouts. Each participant will receive a camp t-shirt. Sewing Class - Sewing Camp - OFFSITE
This camp is a wonderful opportunity for campers to learn basic sewing skills and make fun, cute projects. Youll make machine-sewn projects that you can take home and show off to your friends and family. If this is your first time sewing, well start you off with some great beginner projects. Game Design: McDonald - McDonald International School
Students in Game Design will have the opportunity to create a video game using Kodu Game Lab! Our theme is "Sea Life". Your child will utilize the sea creatures, objects and "bots" in order to save the underwater environment from toxic dredge and ooze. Students will learn to program an underwater submarine to clean up the ocean floor and defend our sea life. We will build the seafloor with the terrain tools, add sealife and objectives. Students will learn how to program scoreboards and timers in order to tell their story and program enemy bots.
