Escape From City Life
Canyon Creek is just about an hour’s drive outside LA and I’m really glad we took our kids. They learned a lot about several different sports and seemed to be really excited when we picked them up. It is near a large lake and is a beautiful area. The camp was huge and had many sporting facilities. All of the equipment seemed to be new and the camp counselors were great with the kids. Kids 2 Camp Benefit Run is a family friendly run/walk with 10K, 5K, and 1 mile courses through the beautiful Warm Beach Camp and Conference Center grounds. Splish-splash, well be havin a blast! This will be one wet week of camp to remember as campers of all ages will enjoy various water activities and games, water slides, sno cones, and a trip to the pool for our Big Safari campers. A great weekend for kids 8-13 years old, filled with songs, fellowship, fun and Gods word. Come on your own or as a group with youth leaders from your church. Registration will begin at 7pm on Friday night and the fun goes through Sunday afternoon at 2pm. Its a great time to reconnect with camp friends from summer and to meet new people as well but most importantly its a great time to be encouraged in your walk with Christ.
