Whether youve never taken voice lessons before or you have a few years of experience, Voice Camp is right for you. Students will work in small groups to develop their technique - improving their breathing, range and confidence. Through solos, duets and large ensemble pieces, students will study a variety of styles and genres including jazz, pop, musical theater and classical singing while continuing to expand their music reading skills. Each student will be expected to come to camp with a prepared, memorized vocal solo of any genre. The camp will conclude with a final concert for family and friends. Biology and ecology is as easy as riding a bike! Use your bike as a vehicle to explore and learn more about our local environment. Practice and improve your riding skills and learn trail etiquette and bicycle safety. Also delve into the mechanics of various bike parts with hands-on experiments. Ages 6-12 by June 20, 2016 [ages 6 (who have completed kindergarten) –12 by first day of camp session]. Camp Greenwell is everything nature and adventure with opportunities to kayak, hike, craft, fish, do archery, play and discover. Mid-week, campers will take a wagon ride over to the Manor House area where they can build forts with bamboo, explore the gardens, play water games and capture the flag, visit the Barn and participate in our Nature Time program. Daily free time allows the campers to let their imagination and interests drive their play while in the outdoors. Each afternoon, campers are provided an afternoon snack and each week there is a chance to make Smores. The week ends with Tye-Dye Friday for a take-home memory of the week at camp.
