We learn about Sanibels freshwater habitats and how they affect the local flora and fauna. In addition, we study one of the wetlands most notorious inhabitants, the American Alligator. Winter Break Camp for the Teen Horse Lover - Spring Grove, IL
Up to three fun filled days (Monday, 12/28; Tuesday, 12/29 and Wednesday, 12/30 - you pick which day(s) you want to be here) with horses for those 13 to 17 years of age. No previous riding experience necessary. All riders, no matter their experience level will have fun playing in our indoor arena with our holiday trail course. The course can be ridden a number of different ways enabling the camper to build on their riding skills no matter where they are starting from. Campers will also be helping with some part of the day-to-day care of the horses and ponies that live here at Meadowsweet Ranch and each day will include some educational time in our heated club room. Breaks and lunch will be enjoyed in our heated club room also.

2016 Youth Tennis (6-8 yrs) - City of Fort Morgan Recreation Department
A two week youth tennis camp! Participants will participate for 45 min each day for 10 days (Monday-Friday). Camp is organized by ages AND physical/skill level. Register your child in the group that seems most appropriate. Camp Objectives 4-6 Years Old: use tennis to develop basic skills of movement, catching, throwing and hitting, 30 minutes 6-8 Years Old: to develop athletic skills, technical and game skills for the tennis environment, 45 minutes 7-10 Years Old: to develop tennis-appropriate athletic, technical, game and competitive skills, 1 hour 9-11 Years Old: to combine tennis-appropriate technical, tactical, physical, and psychological skills for competition, 1 hour LOCATION TBA INSTRUCTOR Elizabeth Smith

For kids who want to try golf but dont want to spend all day at it, this great combo camp will keep them happy and active all day! With the help of a Montgomery County Golf Academy instructor, all campers will practice putting, chipping, driving, and using irons and woods at the Driving Range (M-Th, 9am-Noon). On Friday, everyone will play 9 holes of golf at a nearby course, then full-day campers will head back for a final fun group activity. Afternoons for full-day campers will be filled with so much more: tennis, basketball, kick ball, mini-golf and water fun at SG Splash Playground. Dont want so much more? Sign up for half-day camp and concentrate on golf! Fee covers instruction, tees, Nike Golf® balls, and transportation Friday. Full-day campers will also receive a Nike Golf® hat and Papa Johns Pizza for lunch on Friday. Well provide clubs to kids who dont have them. This class will explore cubist artist such as Picasso and Braque. Students will create their very own cubist work of art in clay while learning basic techniques of using slabs to create 3/D form. Students will learn basic and intermediate techniques of slab application, handbuilding, texture application, and glass fusion into clay.
