I was eager to enroll at Camp Newaygo for one important reason: we could all share the summer fun as a family. Sure it's important for the kids to have their own time but when we can make memories (and plenty of crafts!) together as a family then it makes our vacation all the better. Weekly Wilderness Skills Youth Camp 12 and Ups - Indianapolis, IN
This is one of our greatest opportunities at White Pine. Participants recieve on-going mentorship in complex wilderness survival skills, tracking, and awareness. We are an aboriginal skills school. We teach these skills within an ethnohistorical context. Our intention is to deepen each persons relationship with their environment, their ancestry, their community and themselves. All this within the context of "the invisible school" a mentorship model that disguises curriculum in games, stories, and spontanious nature learning. Cost is $35.

For those who teach dental hygiene or wish to receive required teaching methodology to teach dental hygiene this conference provides a variety of courses in general educational teaching methodology and specific subject teaching methodology. Courses include a flash drive of teaching materials. Visit our website for course descriptions and registration details. The courses are spread over 8 days. Aug 4 through 11, 2015. Hotel rates are $89 per night for double occupancy. Fly into Jacksonville FL airport. Half hour shuttle ride to hotel. All classes held in 2 hotels. Teaching methodology classes are limited to 30 participants.

Campers will learn to become confident writers! Practice makes perfect and campers will have fun writing! This camp offers instruction and practice in creative writing including: journaling, brainstorming strategies, short stories, poems, prompts and more. Campers will practice their writing skills and have fun doing so as they play word games, learn fun writing strategies and share their creative stories. Has your child ever wanted to learn how to make his or her own 3D model on a computer? This camp teaches the basics of how to computer generate 3D models that can then be used for animations, 3D printouts, games, and the new fields of Virtual Reality and Alternate Reality. Campers will be introduced to 3D modeling using games such as Minecraft, Spore, and others, and then will be able to progress into using simple 3D modeling programs. Campers will get their own 3D printout of a model theyve made and will be able to take home their very own 3D models on a USB drive (516) 750-3104

This program provides a unique experience for participants with varying skill levels to participate in recreation and socialization. A wide variety of fun activities including swimming, bowling, golf, organized games, special events, and arts and crafts. This program offers a 5 to 1 participant-staff ratio. Personal Care Attendants are encouraged to participate with any youth needing one-on-one attention. They will also learn basic golf safety, rules, and etiquette -- all while having fun! The instruction will include game-based teaching methods to reinforce the fun side of golf.
