PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SHARE! We are so excited this year the Lord has opened for mission camp here in Mississippi!!! For youth ages 9yrs - 14yrs old. We also have 2 Mission Service openings for ages 15yrs - 17yrs and 2 openings for Co-Counselors In Training 18yrs -19yrs old. We will be having it at Wauaway Springs Christian Retreat Center in Vossburg, MS and we are keeping the cost low. You can start paying deposits in January 2016! See our flyer for more information!

Explore all the basics of throwing on the potters wheel making useful forms including mugs, bowls, plates, and so much more. Learn fun hand-building techniques in this small group camp where you will have access to your own wheel to use throughout the camp. After your pottery is created, you will decorate forms using a variety of colorful slips and glazes. We will participate in a close reading of James Joyces novel, A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man. Our discussions will explore the style, structure and significances of Joyces watershed novel and consider its function as a prologue to Ulysses and very tentatively, Finnegans Wake. Outside Hitter Camp - Beck Center
We will be focusing a lot on the passing aspects of the game during the first part of the session along with working on the mechanics of the arm swing. The second part of the session we will be progressing into more game like situations that involve both the Outside Hitter and Right Side Hitter. This camp is for all levels of players as we will progress each drill according to the success of the player. If you are just starting out we will work with you to get you to understand the game from the Outside Hitter position and work through the early fundamentals that you will need to become successful. If you have played the position for a while you will progress on a track to teach you the different levels of the game and how we do things here at Transylvania Volleyball.
