LBBC Youth Rally - Christianity In Song - Independence, MO
This is our 3rd ANNUAL YOUTH RALLY HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED. The Youth Rally is open to all ages. It is once again an overnight event. We need adult volunteers to cook and supervise the cabins. Campers 8 and under are welcome with a parent on site. Lessons begin at 7 pm Friday night. We will be looking at Christianity through the lenses of our favorite campfire songs. Come prepared to do some serious singing. Dinner WILL NOT be served. EAT BEFORE YOU COME ON FRIDAY NIGHT. Snacks will be provided after campfire. Breakfast will be at 8 AM with the first lesson beginning at 9 AM. Lunch will be served at noon. The last activity will be done at 2 PM. Everyone needs to leave by 3 PM.

Macs National Soccer School - Macs National Soccer School
Macs National Soccer School is founded upon the experience and vision of Tom McIntosh. Coach McIntosh was the 2007 & 2008 C-USA Coach of the Year and lead The University of Tulsa to the C-USA Regular Season and Conference Tournament Championships in 2007, 2008, 2009 & 2012. TU is also a perennial Top 25 team and has NCAA tournament play which includes making it to the Final 8 in 2009 for the second time in 5 years. In addition, Coach McIntosh is the winningest coach in school history. Younger campers need a lot of reassurance and unconditional love, and that is exactly what they get at 7/11 Camp. For many kids, 7/11 Camp will be their first experience away from home. So, every action-packed 7/11 day hums with words of love and encouragement sung by a staff hand-picked for their Christ-like patience and sensitivity. Counselors coach and praise the kids while they learn and explore through games, pool activities, and much more. Each activity leads to greater confidence and character building. Counselor training builds moral and spiritual application into each and every activity session. The 7/11 leadership staff creatively share the importance of a life lived for Christ through themed events at night, 7/11 worship, nightly devotionals, and one-on-one time getting to know your child. In this class, students will explore a variety of different kinds of maps. By playing geography games and participating in fun activities, students will create a variety of maps, including cartograms, choropleths, dot maps, proportional symbol maps, maps with isolines, and flow maps. This class will also include a component on learning how to read a map to navigate. 206-957-1533
Polynesian Art - Junior Center of Art & Science
Students will study a variety of visual art forms common throughout Polynesia including printmaking, wood working, lei, quilting, and cloth/fiber art using plant dyes. Students will then create contemporary artistic interpretations of these traditional forms. 510-839-5777
