Yes, 5 year olds can learn to code and program computers all in the excitement of play! Programming is thought to be the next language that all children need to learn and we make it fun! Using simple coding games with animation and stories, as well as Dot and Dash robots, young children learn to program these bots with light, sound, sensors, and movement, understand the basics of coding, and are introduced to the world of computer science fundamentals. Your child will take home a small robot they construct. Warning! Be prepared, your child will not want to leave camp at the end of each day! My twin sons and my daughter won’t go to any other baseball camp besides this one. Washington Nationals Baseball Camp is for children ages 5 to 13. This camp provides Major League experience to kids who are passionate about learning and playing baseball. Each child receives a look alike national league uniform. You can expect camping, ultimate, sideline shenanigans, ferry rides, crafts, Nana Hoover, and new friend making. 2017 Teen Weekend - De Leon Springs, FL
Teen weekend is for youngsters age 12-17, and campers have the option to bring a friend of the same sex and approximate age. This weekend program allows for interactions amongst peer groups, as well as a learning experience for campers without diabetes. Educational sessions relating to “teen issues,” “school issues,” and “How-to-be-a-friend” are led by pediatric endocrinologists, nurses, dieticians and mental health professionals. We understand that networking and the support of a teen’s peers is critical at this age, so we provide fun and interactive activities such as a beach party, luaus, casino night, and a lot of land sports.

We will also build on your tactical awareness of the game and your understanding of runs off the ball, defensive organization and communication, along with how to deal with numbers up vs. numbers down situations. Hang with the Bears on and off the field and learn what it takes to be a Division I college soccer player. Residential campers reside in Residence Halls in the center of the UC Berkeley Campus. All campers dine in the state-of-the-art Dining Center.
