May 10,17,24,31, June 7, 14 (Ages 6-10) Rockland Ice Arena Our spring skills sessions will focus on improving the fundamental skills that make a complete hockey player. Our certified staff and Pro Hockey instructors will teach skating stride, edges, puck handling, shooting, passing proficiency and overall hockey competency. Our approach for teaching these skills will be challenging yet fun. Players will be introduced to fresh drills and techniques that will make them better all-around players There will be a special emphasis on skating Skating is the foundation of our game and we have put together an opportunity that puts 100% focus on all aspects of skating. Confirmation Mini Camp - Burnamwood Camp
This mini camp will focus on what it means to be a Presbyterian in todays world. Campers learn about how we understand our faith through an explanation of the Cross and Flame Logo. Included in the week will be all the traditional camp favorite activities like campfires, swimming, 9 - square, crafts, hiking and more. Adventure Sailing M,W,F ($215 for 1 week, Members) - Nantucket Yacht Club
Please select a minimum of one week. The class, which meets 3 days a week, will have a distinct goal for each day: Long Sail Day - try to sail as far as possible from the club using wind direction, current/tide forecast, and navigational aides. During the following class the student will chart their course on a chart in the Sail Room with pins and yarn, and we can compare progress week to week. Star Chart Day - Students identify skills from the star chart they want to achieve (Anchoring, knots, upwind sailing, etc), and finally Catamaran Day! Students may take this course for a maximum of 4 weeks, and class may not be held if less than 2 children are signed up.
