2016 Boys & Girls Summer Basketball Camp - Philadelphia, PA
Shoot for the Stars, Inc. is proud to present the 2016 Back to Basics Boys & Girls Summer Basketball Camp at Benjamin Franklin High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The summer camp will be held in two one-week sessions designed to engage inner-city youth (ages of 8-18) by teaching, mentoring and coaching students to not only become solid athletes, but to help them develop into successful, productive human beings.

Each year the WGBC youth and guests spend 3 days in fellowship and under intensive instruction in the Word. The program includes worship services, bonfire fellowship, games, and various activities. This is a unique opportunity to establish new friendships, renew the old, and serve each other. But the most important aspect of this retreat is the time during the services when young people will be united in worship. Another great blessing of this time is the opportunity to interact with our pastors who will be there with us the whole time. This year's theme: The book of Daniel was written to encourage the Jews in exile by revealing God’s program for them. They are reminded that God is sovereign over the affairs of all rulers and nations. A key aspect within the overarching theme of God’s kingly control is Messiah’s coming to rule the world in glory over all men (2:35, 45; 7:13, 14,27). All of the kingdoms of this world will come to an end and will be replaced by the Lord’s kingdom, which will never pass away (2:44; 7:27). Teen Theatre Camp 2016 - Independence, MO
Baby Crow Teen Theatre Camp is a 5 day advanced theatre camp taught by members of NYC theatre company, Baby Crow Productions. The camp runs from July 5th-July 9th from 10am-5pm at 113 W. Lexington on the Independence Square. Tuition is $150 for the whole week. Campers will work with professional teaching artists to develop skills. This summer we offer specialty classes in areas such as, vocal performance, acting, musical theatre, dance, audition technique, and much more! Each class is taught by NYC working professionals and teaching artists from Baby Crow Productions. In addition to a traditional approach to training, our camp will provide campers with the experience of creating their own original work. At the end of the week, campers will have the ability to showcase what they have worked on at a performance for their invited guests. Safety Camp - Blue Heron Elementary School
Lino Lakes Public Safety Department, Centennial Lakes Police Department, Centennial Fire District, Lexington Fire Department, and Lino Lakes Parks and Recreation Department present the Annual Safety Camp! Unintentional injuries are the leading cause of serious injury and/or death of children. This camp is taught by those who respond to those types of incidents each day in an effort to reduce the numbers of injuries that occur each year. The camp includes sessions on bike safety, fire safety, 911 procedure, water safety, personal safety, electrical safety, outdoor safety and first aid - all in an informative and fun atmosphere. The knowledge campers learn will allow them to make the right decisions when faced with unsafe conditions. Safety Camp is intended for children entering 4th grade the fall of 2016.
