This 68 year old camp is designed for children from 2nd grade to 11th grade. The camp has a strong Jewish heritage which influences the activities they offer. My 12 year old son enjoys the friendly staff and the fun activities. He has grown in confidence while discovering who he is in relation to the community at large. Little Stars - Musical Theatre - The Little Theatre of Alexandria
This camp is an introduction to musicals that allows campers to experience what its like to tell a story through music. We will tell stories through original songs based on common fairytales with each child getting an opportunity to have lines, sing, and dance. Campers will play fun theatre games that will help them get more comfortable in social situations through using their imagination and creativity. These young performers will get the unique experience of being able to perform on a stage. INSTRUCTOR MICHAEL PAGE has been teaching theater for 8 years and has been choreographing in local community theaters for the past 10 years. He recently received a BA in Theater and Dance from Christopher Newport University. He currently works as a Music and Movement Teacher at VHBC Preschool as well as teaches classes at LTA, Mount Vernon REC Center, and Browne Academy. He teaches private acting, dancing, and guitar lessons from his home. Our Fish ‘n Fun camps for 6-9 yr. old campers are designed to teach the basics of freshwater fishing through a series of games and activities as well as on-the-water experience.
