Get ready to learn all about the fastest growing sport in the United States! Lacrosse has elements of soccer, football, basketball and hockey. Once you try lacrosse, youll love it! All equipment will be provided in this highly instructional program. Campers will receive training on all fundamentals, including passing and catching; fielding ground balls, cradling, spacing, positioning, and defense. Plastic sticks and soft balls will be used which eliminates the need for helmets and shoulder pads. No checking, stick checking, or poking will be permitted! Join anytime during the week (fee will be pro-rated). Multi-Camp Discount: Register for two or more full-day Jump Start Sports Camps and receive a $15 discount off the registration fee for the second and each subsequent camp. Supplies: Campers should bring a packed lunch with a beverage, snacks and plenty of water each day. All campers should arrive at camp with sunscreen already applied, as well as with additional sunscreen, as needed. We recommend a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30. This camp gives students the chance to develop socially and musically. My 10 year old daughter loves the fact she can be out in nature, feels safe and can learn about music with like-minded children.
