Spring 2016 Junior Farmers Camp - Connolly Ranch
This camp is full of playful, educational and safe activities for 3, 4 and 5 year olds, designed to inspire a connection with and love of nature and the outdoors. During our time together, your children will feed and care for the farm animals, get creative with arts and crafts, experience the garden through digging, planting and harvesting seasonal flowers and vegetables, laugh and smile during story and music time and explore freely in the natural open playspace we call The Grove. Coasters Grades 2-3 - Community Cycling Center Bike Shop
From exploring new neighborhoods to spanning distances they didnt know they could ride, Coasters experience the empowerment of a week on two wheels. Riders build confidence in this camp by tackling many different riding situations both within parks and on the road. They also gain experience riding both up and downhill in conjunction with proper shifting techniques for those with geared bikes. Its not all hard work though – Coasters will take breaks from their bicycles by playing games in local parks. Its a packed week of fun! Please note: Coasters camp will ride on streets. To participate, riders must be able to consistently start and stop unassisted and ride in a straight line. Skills they will develop: • Proper execution of emergency and anticipated stops • Avoiding hazards • Shoulder check and scanning for cars • Identifying types of intersections and crossing safely • Controlling speed riding down a hill • Signaling and communicating with other road users • Tube patching 503-288-8864 x321

Crazy About Clay, 2nd Session - Northwest Art Center
Age Range: 8 to 12 Description: All Clay, all the time! In this class, students will learn the art of ceramics by building, sculpting, and creating on the pottery wheel. We will experiment with various tools and glazes as students express themselves through creativity and color in this fun and functional 3D art form. MONDAY Winter/Spring 2016 AM Parent Toddler Group18-36 Months - All Saints Episcopal Church
Montessori Atrium Parent Toddler Group 18-36 Months The parent-toddler group meets once a week in the All Saints Montessori Toddler Atrium environment. Children accepted into the program are ages 18-36 months and must be accompanied by parent. Children need not be potty trained to be accepted into our program. Children explore activities of Practical Life, Sensorial and Language materials along with seasonal presentations of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd with the aid of a Montessori atrium guide. Parents observe and learn together with their children gaining insights into supporting their childs growth and development, nurturing the whole child. A Montessori book group, parenting support and exploration of creating a Montessori space in the home as an aid to the child are discussed. There are no refunds once the program begins.
