UCLA UniCamp is a tradition at UCLA that is entering its 81st summer of camp. The session I will be attending this year (Session 2) is during June 25- July 1. Every year there are hundreds of under-served children that may not be dreaming of a bright future. Help us provide these kids with the tools to change their stars and give them the chance to dream big and succeed! All proceeds from this event go towards sending under-served youth to camp this summer. This will help UCLA UniCamp give over 1,300 campers a summer camping experience. http://tinyurl.com/snorlax2016 With that being said, I really need YOUR help in order to reach my fundraising goal of $500. I must fundraise this money in order to be able to send these kids off to camp for one week. Enjoy a week of hiking and exploring the Cascades. We will teach you how or give your hiking skills a challenge. We will take day hikes in the foothills, mountains and along Puget Sound Hiking camps are for youth ages 8 to 16. The difficulties of the hiking routes will be chosen depending on the ability of the campers. All climbing equipment is provided. Summer Stretch Yoga Camp: Beach Theme - Marine Park Building
Weekly Theme: Beach Balance like a palm tree, roar like a lion, and stretch like a giraffe in this fun-filled yoga camp! Camp begins with a 40 minute class where students learn new poses and breathing techniques each day on an imaginary yoga adventure. Class ends by relaxing with peaceful music. After class, the excitement continues with yoga stories and games, a break for lunch, and a creative take-home art activity. Art projects are yoga themed and will relate to the poses learned that day. Fun activities throughout the week include parachute games, treasure hunts, outdoor craft time, face painting, and more!
