Weinberg Y in Waverly Cycle a Kid to Camp - Baltimore, MD
Announcing our first annual Weinberg Cycle a Kid to Camp event! Join us for a lot of fun and raise funds to send Baltimore City children to Y Camp where they will spend the summer learning, laughing and playing, as children should. Register to ride for an hour or all four OUTSIDE on the cycle studio bikes! We will have a live DJ pumping the jams to keep your feet pedaling for Y kids! Giveaways will occur evey hour for the riders! And we will have refreshments. Register and begin fundraising! Ride for four hours and fundraise (or donate) $231. $231 sends a kid to Y Camp for an entire week. Raise or donate $58 and ride for an hour. Register online today.

All NEW. Circus Camp for ages 7+, June 9-12. Kids ages 7-11 are in the morning session (9am-noon); kids ages 12+ are in the afternoon session (1pm-4pm).The camp will include several forms of dance and circus arts including: juggling, tightwire, aerial silks, lyra, static trapeze and acro yoga. Youth strength and conditioning camp - Houston, TX
Calling all youth athletes and aspiring athletes!!! Parents, Bring your kids out to this clinic to improve their knowledge and skills in core strength, conditioning, footwork and combat fighting drills. This is a free event that is proposed for kids from second to eighth grade. The instructors of this event are Police Officers who enjoy working with youth on becoming better people and athletes while giving tips to improve their proficiency in any sport. If you are interested in signing your child up for this event please contact one us in a direct message. Again, we want to advise that this event is designed to give workout tips to all athletes!!!! Please be aware that this is a volunteered event and injury may occur. If injury occurs, we encourage parents to contact medical personnel. Please be aware of your child health conditions before attending this event. Instructors will not be liable for any injury that occurs. Upon arrival, Parents are encouraged to check in child(s) at 7am. Please arrive in workout attire with tennis shoes. Bring a towel, plenty of water and fruit. Although photography is the worlds newest art form, as a concept it was known by Aristotle. In this brief course we will review the evolution of photography from its beginnings to the digital cameras of today. Along the way, youll be introduced to some of the most influential individuals who played an important role leading to the creation of modern photography. We will discuss how painting influenced photography and how photography influenced painting. In just three sessions, well have a chance to see the oldest surviving photographs, Daguerreotypes, Silver Nitrate prints, early color photographs, modern pixel- based images and much more.
