Teen Plein Air: Art In Motion Camps #1 & 2 - Bow, WA
Choose from Camp #1 July 11th-15th or Camp #2 July 18th-July 22nd. Class Cost per week $87.50. Camp #1: 3:00pm-5:00pm -- Plein Air (**Students encouraged to participate in Part I & II) "Examining our surroundings in detail, seeing beauty not only in the spectacular but also in the smallest growing things" (Lowenfeld) . In addition to work in our cozy studio, small Plein-Air outings will be held at 2 locations during this one week workshop. Students will learn how to connect with their surroundings. Students develop their observation skills and increase their knowledge about the world around them. Parents expected to drive students to the Plein-Air location specified prior to class. Camp #2: 3:00pm-5:00pm -- Plein Air II: Art In Motion This is a stand alone class of can be the second step to week 1. This week will focus on gesture drawing, composition, and how to record what you see when it’s moving. There will be a short lesson with a slide show of Degas and after some skills in the studio are absorbed we will visit the dance studio and draw the dancers in motion! EVERYONE IS WELCOME !! $10.00 for Driver and $5.00 for passenager includes: admission on ride, food after ride, beverage, entertainment and a chance to win $$. Bike/Car Registration at 10 am *First out at 11am **Eating at 1:30 pm ***Car/Motorcycle Show 1:30pm ~ 3:00 pm ****Some Trophies will be handed out for the Show. Will also have a Chinese Auction and special raffles. All proceeds go to Royal Family KIDS Camp. Its takes about $600 a child to send to camp. Youth Guys Camping Trip - Nashville, IN
We are going to be taking the guys of the youth group on a camping trip to Yellow Wood State Forest campground. If there is a Dad(s) that is wishing to attend please talk to Jason and Josh Brown as soon as possible. We plan to leave the Church at 4:00 PM on May 13th, so please plan to be at the Church at 3:30 PM if possible. The cost for this event is $20/Person which takes care of your food and campsite fees. This event is open to both high school, and middle school guys and the deadline for money and paperwork will be May 1st at 8 PM. We will also be sending out a packing list a little bit later on. You can sign-up either on Facebook or on the sign-up sheet on Sunday night.
