LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Invention Convention - Winter Session - Adams Elementary
Held in Computer Lab. Using Lego Mindstorms robots, Terraformers software, Circuitry, Solar Kits, Keva Planks, Rocketry, Technology and do-it-yourself projects, our curriculum challenges kids to design and construct 3-D innovations individually and as a team. This is a full year STEAM program (science, technology, engineering, art, math) with all new lessons for fall, winter and spring sessions that do not repeat. Design a star wars robot and Mars Rover, program an adventure in space, construct a solar robot, test out circuitry, build a castle, bridge or dragon…and lots, lots more! Students acquire a basic knowledge of geometry, physics, technology, programming, circuitry, energy, sculpture, art and design. In addition to logical thinking, our program stimulates students thinking in a different way to generate innovations from their own imagination and discover their creative talent. In this camp from Youth Digital, campers learn key modeling concepts as they design their 3D model in preparation for real 3D printing. At the end of camp, kids will walk away with a completed 3D model that is ready for 3D printing! Theyll also be able to access the online version of the course after camp, including video tutorials, interactive quizzes, and new challenges. Campers will learn the basics of 3D modeling as they prepare to have their creations printed using groundbreaking 3D printing technology. During camp, kids master 3D modeling and design skills including how to sculpt, texture, arrange, and render their 3D creation in preparation for 3D printing. Open to any and all entrants, this camp is designed for anyone wanting to experience a week of Warrior Ninja Acrobatics Training! Each day will feature a different theme, teaching aspects of Parkour, Ninja Warrior training, Circus, Acrobatics and Gymnastics. Participants will focus their training primarily on both Warrior Ninja Skills (parkour and acrobatics) and Gymnastics (tumbling and apparatus work). Participants will be grouped depending upon age and current level of training. This fun filled half day camp is perfect for adventurous kids who love to run, jump, flip, climb and fly!
