Teen Camp 2016 - Goshen, IN
In junior high and high school, kids are often influenced by peers and the media rather than just their parents. They are still searching and beginning to make decisions about who they are and what they believe. They crave more interaction with their peers, enjoy high energy situations in larger groups, and are most comfortable being open and vulnerable in small group settings. That's what they will get at Teen Camp! Come and stay with a counselor and group of students your age as a Dorm Camper, or stay with your parents or approved guardian as a Camper@Large!
Kid's do Strollfit - Norman, OK
Second annual kids do Strollfit class. All kids are welcome to bring their baby stroller, lawn mower, anything they can push and they will do their own Strollfit class. Prizes will be given for best decorated vehicle/push item. I will assign older kids an exercise to teach to the other kids (generally 4 and up). Moms, please help them and practice with them. If you have a younger one that would like to teach, let me know and I will add them. Don't want to exclude any who wants to teach!! Be sure you bring your camera. This is the cutest class of they year!! Intermediate and advanced students will be encouraged to design their own projects in a direction of their own choosing. Expand your knowledge of wheel throwing, hand building, and sculpture. Each participant will choose their favorite motif (animal, thing, or idea) and represent it in four different art projects. Campers should bring photo copied pictures of their chosen motif for the first day of camp. All other supplies for projects will be provided. In this camp we will dive into what makes these instantly recognizable flowers so amazing, and unlock some secrets they may hold in their heads. Through careful observation and sunny inspiration we will complete several sunflower themed projects using mixed media.
