Little Stars (July 25) - The Little Theatre of Alexandria
This camp is a special introduction to acting that gives each child a chance to shine! Whether your child loves to do "shows" in your living room, or you wish they felt more comfortable expressing themselves, in this camp every voice is heard. We use creative movement and fun acting games that boost confidence and help build the body-mind connection. With a camper to caring counselor ratio of 4:1, there is a lot of individual attention. Confidence grows as children share their ideas and impressions, working collaboratively on their skit. Each week there are improv games and fun activities that help with concentration and observation skills. During the week campers sing and tell some jokes onstage, build a shoe box set, and paint the scenery for the show. Each day campers practice and prepare for their skit on Friday. We laugh a lot! INSTRUCTOR ROBERTA MASTERS-CULLEN has been teaching childrens classes and camps at the Little Theatre for seven years. She is a member of the Screen Actors Guild specializing in radio and television voiceovers, and has been a television news anchor and reporter. Paint-Tastic (JK-K) - Mulberry School
In this camp our JK/Kindergarteners will explore all things paint. Mixing in a little bit of science (how paint is made), a bunch of exploration, and a lot of creativity, well have a paint filled week with all things arts and crafts. Well spend some time having fun with color combinations, find out what the color wheel is, utilize all kinds of tools for cool paint techniques, and learn how we can mix our own colors to create unique paint colors for our works of art! In true Mulberry tradition, well draw inspiration from all around our beautiful campus, so expect your child to spend plenty of time outdoors as well as inside. Sign-Language Club (Cordova) - Harding Cordova

Fine Arts Academy: Session II - Farmhouse
The HCA fine arts academy is geared toward those students who are serious about visual arts. Their day will include 2 sessions studio time with different teachers learning to work with acrylic, ceramics, watercolor, pastels and pencil drawing. The students will also work on a group activity each day and spend time outside. ALL ART SUPPLIES INCLUDED. Please bring a lunch, snack and water bottle each day.
