If you are in 3rd through 5th grade, now is the time to begin planning for camp next year. We are going back to Campbellsville University for a few days of Centri-Kid fun this year. Our time has been booked for June 29 through July 3rd. The cost for this week of growing in Christ and together, is $285.00 with a $100.00 deposit due February 8th. Suwannee Spirit Kids Music Camp @ Old Tyme Farm Days - Live Oak, FL
This year SSKMC will have a presence at the Old Tyme Farm Days! Some of our wonderful teachers will be holding workshops throughout the event. This is a two day, family friendly event in our favorite place, Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park! Old Tyme Farm Days began in 1989, celebrating rural American life and heritage, farming activities, old time gospel sing, demonstrations, food vendors, children's activities, music, mule cart rides, gas and steam engines, demonstrations of the way things were done in the old days and much more. *We will be holding workshops on Friday and Saturday with a performance Saturday evening.* Workshop times will be posted soon.

For rising 4th-7th grade students Have you ever wanted to experiment with electricity? Do you wonder how electricity works? This camp will allow campers to explore the world of circuits with Snap Circuits™. Well learn the basic concept of circuits and then explore the world of alternative energy. We will also look at the lives of different professionals in the field of electrical engineering with biography cards and/or guest speakers. Summer Camp - Full Day - Week 4 - Mockingbird Baby
Morning: Olympic Robot Games Discover how it feels to Go for the Gold as you and your teammates compete in a handful of sports for this class of Robotic Olympics. Each event/sport will test your robots structural integrity and maneuverability. At the same time, coach your robots with wireless technology while being put to the test. Using gears, pulleys and varying degrees of traction, students will build robotic athletes. We will compete at soccer, kickball, jousting, wrestling, a MYSTERY Sport and a race across the finish line. Sportsmanship and Robotic Competition Rule! Afternoon: Impossible Search & Rescue Teams in this class have accepted the challenge to be the first responder in circumstances of extreme weather, danger, abandonment and quarantine. These victims need: robots that can climb up ropes to rescue Lego Mini Figure victims, rovers that can drive through and over any obstacle, and so much more. We want to know if your robot can save the day. Note: Even though between some weekly sessions there might appear the same program names, in our actual education program, we will have different depth of technology and engineering principles to be applied by our children under our inspirational guidance... Within Reach Education, based in Atlanta, Georgia, will spend a week on the Carolina Day School campus teaching the most effective tips, tricks, and strategies to raise your SAT or ACT scores! Get Started on Summer Reading 5 - The Prairie School
Have fun reading a required summer reading book in a group setting. With the use of a variety of reading strategies, the course covers the reading of Number the Stars Students are asked to purchase the novel prior to the first class. All students should read the first two chapters of the book they are assigned before June 20th. Additional reading at home will be required.
