2nd Annual Summer Youth Camp - Manteno, IL
We will be taking 20 young men ages 10 to 18 to Camp Shaw-was-nas-see for three days and two nights of fun, learning and relaxation. Activities included at this event are First Aid, Map & Compass Reading, Basketball, Swimming, Archery, Nature Trail Walks, Zip Lines, Strength and Endurance Training, Mens Rap, where on last year we talked about the detriments of gangs, drugs and violence, and much much more. All meals will be provided. Last year we paid $60 per person to go to this event but through the generous donations of our donors we didnt have to charge any of the families for their young men to participate in this event. We were also able to purchase our insuance and supplies through our donors. This year we have been given a discount $50 per camper and we are praying for the same support this year. There are cabins on the site so we won't be sleeping outside, camp site tours are available. For more information or to donate call Maurice Shelton at (815)386-3246

Kid's Summer Camp at the Mount - Colonial Heights, VA
A week of fun, faith, and friends for kids who have completed grades K-5. Camp will include: worship, Bible study, trips & more! Camp runs August 15-19, with lunch and family dinner provided. Each day starts at 9 am with family dinner each night at 5:30 pm. Total cost is $100 per child with nonrefundable $25 deposit due by June 12. Volunteers & Chaperones needed. Youth Advance 2016 - North East, MD
Youth Advance is a 3-day conference (March 4-6, 2016) where several hundred youth, parents, and leaders come together to explore, encounter and exalt Jesus Christ.

Summer Camp Volunteer Informational Session - Tulsa, OK
New Hope serves children and youth of Oklahoma ages 5-18 who have an incarcerated parent. Our summer camps offer unique opportunities to learn and grow in a supportive enviornment. Our camps depend upon our volunteers. Volunteers are needed to help us prepare for camp, at camp, in-between camps, and after camp. There is a role and opportunity for everyone! Sports Camp week 2- Flag Football - Orchard Park Recreation
During the first hour of flag football camp, children will focus on the fundamental skills of football such as passing, punting, kicking and defense. Agility and hand-eye coordination will also be emphasized. During the second hour, children will be able to eat a healthy snack and then participate in a series of cooperative games that will enhance their capabilities of being a good teammate and showing good sportsmanship. The third hour of flag football camp will focus on the basic rules of the game such as flag guarding, off sides , false start and passing interference, as well as the scoring system for football and the duties of each position. Additionally, modified games of flag football will be played during the third hour. As the skills of each child advance over the course of the week, the third hour will consist of more realistic game-like situations. Equipment will be provided. New This Year! Thursday Field Tri ps ! Power Puzzle - Florence Elementary School
Power Puzzle Students create an autonomous robot and program using LEGO EV3 platform. The emphasis is on building design and strategic problem solving. Through the Power Puzzle Challenge students explore understanding the elements of energy use in a world that uses more and more energy every day. As our world grows and changes, so do our energy needs. Solve missions and score points by programming an EV3 to run autonomous robots. Campers can bring their mobile game ideas to life in no time at all with no coding!th-3 Test your game utilizing the previewer and then get ready to publish to all supported targets, including iPhone, iPad, Android, Kindle, Nook, Windows 8, and Mac desktop. Campers will be provided with a laptop to construct their games. They will have an opportunity to save those games and add them to their devices on Friday at camp, or at home if they wish.
