Camp Jr. Space Astronomer is designed for campers ages 6-8. Activities and experiments explore air and space travel, the Earth-Moon-Sun relationships, stars and galaxies. Special emphasis is placed on learning about the scientist related to an activity through Meet the Scientist and the science behind the activity through The Science Involved. The activities and experiments of each day at camp are arranged by scientific concept. Our camps are 9am-4pm with pre and post camp options available as well! Watauga Kid Fish & Campout - Watauga, TX
Come out to Watauga's Capp Smith Park to enjoy a fun evening with the family, fishing and camping out under the stars! Poles and bait will be provided, or feel free to bring your own. Don't forget your tent and camping gear! Fishing Derby Age Divisions: 6 & Under, 7-11, 12-16. Prizes will be awarded. We will have a few food vendors on site to purchase dinner & treats. A Free Breakfast will be provided for the overnight campers the following morning at 7:30AM. You MUST pre register for the campout by Thursday, September 16 in order to receive the free breakfast. Space is limited for breakfast. Also, the River Church will be at the event giving away free clothing!! Make sure to stop by to visit them.

Kids After Schoo Core Cooking Camp, Ages 5-8 (Bellevue) - Bellevue, WA
This is a wonderful program that will lay the foundation for healthy eating by educating and empowering students (ages 5-8) about basic kitchen safety, creating a healthy balanced plate, how to subsititue ingredients to make meals healthier and so much more! Classes are sold in a session of four, are held on Wednesdays frm January 4th-25th and are two hours long. The first 30 minutes of each class is dedicated to nutrition education including games and activities. The remaining time is dedicated to cooking, eating, and cleanup. Our Core Cooking Program covers topics such as: Kitchen Safety, Cross-Contamination, Healthy Snacks, Fueling Your Body, Healthy Breakfasts, MyPlate Nutrition, Lunch N Munch, Healthy Cooking Substitutions of Kids’ Favorite Foods Activity sheets, recipes, helpful tips, and individual workstations for hands-on activity are included in the course. Recipes may include things like: avocado veggie dip, peanut butter banana whole wheat coins (nut-free substitutions available if needed), eggs in a basket, French toast, chocolate banana & strawberry smoothie, cranberry broccoli salad, zesty bean dip, pizza spiral sandwiches, sweet potato fries, steak/chicken/veggie grilled skewers, and Parmesan chicken tenders. In On Stage: Footlights, everyone shines! Our camp is designed to allow students the opportunity to dive into performance and design/construction aspects of theatre by working on an abridged production. This year, students will perform 2-3 musical numbers from the Broadway hit, Matilda , based on Roald Dahls beloved book. All songs will be performed as a group, and everyone will get a chance to be Matilda! Well start each day with physical, vocal, imagination & focus building warm-ups.
