Spring Camp - Half Day - Morning - Mockingbird Baby
What happens when you combine levers and robotics? Medieval machines, catapults, trebuchets, draw bridges, hammers, clock and walking robots! Do you know the difference between a trebuchet and a catapult? Can you make a robotic clock? Here is your opportunity to learn about the different types of levers while building Lego robots. In Levers, Trebuchets & Catapults you will nail the competition while time and the ping pong balls of warfare fly as you break down enemy walls and minions. A little modern technology and Lego can defy the impossible. Note: Even though between some weekly sessions there might appear the same program names, in our actual education program, we will have different depth of technology and engineering principles to be applied by our children under our inspirational guidance... Your kids will never feel bored and never repeat the same experiment or exploration... 7135985250.0

Week 9 AM - Second Taste - NESS
Prerequisite: Taste of Optis The Second Taste is meant to build upon the foundation of sailing skills built while your student was in the Taste of Optis program. Take the next step in the Taste of process and add another week long program to reinforce parts of the boat, the sailing lingo, and overall comfort on the water. This class uses both the Opti Trainer and Optimist dinghy as students are guided to sail on their own by the end of the week. 860-535-9362

2005 Mariners ($315 for 2 weeks, Members) - Nantucket Yacht Club
Formerly Beginner Sailing. Please choose 2 weeks minimum. This class is taught in Rhodes 19s, Capri 14s, and Optimists. Mariners is designed to give the sailor a strong fundamental base of sailing skills such as rigging, tacking, gybing, sail trim, hiking, and some advanced boat handling. The overall goal is to make the sailor comfortable on the water in varying conditions, while eventually becoming proficient sailing alone in the Opti. Inside the Mariners class, we typically divide into three color groups: Forest Green (Novice), Lime Green (Intermediate Mariner), and Army Green(Advanced Mariner). As the child improves, they will advance through the groups until they are ready for Whalers. *Please note that the 2005 Mariner class is for those with a birthdate of 2005 or earlier. 508-228-1400

Day Camp Half Day Session #1 - Van Andel Soccer Stadium - Hope College
The Hope Soccer Day Camp is designed for players of various ages and ability levels. Campers ages 6 to 14 choose the Hope Soccer Day camp for the fun and educational experience that focuses on developing fundamental skills, teamwork and developing a love for the game of soccer. Players attending the camp are divided into groups by age and ability level. This structure allows the coaching staff to create a learning environment that challenges each child with appropriate instruction and engaging game environments. Throughout the week the campers build strong relationships with their coaches and teammates. This focus on creating a personal connection with each player is central to the Hope Soccer Camp experience and one of the elements that sets the Hope Soccer Camp apart from other sports camps. 6168059303.0
