Special SAT Prep Class - Carolina Day School
Within Reach Education, based in Atlanta, Georgia, will spend a week on the Carolina Day School campus teaching the most effective tips, tricks, and strategies to raise your SAT or ACT scores! You will not only practice valuable tools and concepts to earn as many points as possible, youll also have some fun within the dynamic learning environment fostered by highly experienced Within Reach educators, Morgan and Stephanie. Basic skills in math, science, reading, and English will be covered, but more importantly the structure and secrets of the two tests will be revealed. Summer Camp Week 1 - Ages 4-12 - First Free Church
CAMP DETAILS Musical Theater Week Thank you for the music! In this camp, students will have fun exploring their own personal voices through songs and dances from various musicals! In addition to drama and improv games that foster theater skills in creativity, self-expression and teamwork, campers will create their own show that incorporates songs from their favorite musicals. Throughout the week we will also work together to create prop, costume and set pieces to use in our culminating original show that highlights our collaborative efforts! Children spending the full day with us should bring a sack lunch for our lunch break at the park Moving Stories Week In this camp, we will explore a variety of childrens literature through story dramatization. Students will play drama games, sing songs, create puppets, write their own poems inspired by books and act out their favorite stories. Girls entering Grade 6 in Fall 2016 - Huddart Park
Campers entering grade 6 are grouped in units with girls of their own age/grade and are supervised by trained staff members and program aides. Campers participate in a wide variety of activities including earning badges, hiking, outdoor cooking, learning outdoor skills, crafts, games, singing and more. Girls entering grade 6 in Fall 2016 will be going horseback riding one day during the first week of camp (additional waiver form required for this activity). Girls are will spend the night at camp on Wednesday, July 27th with their unit.
