Profitable for Teaching 2016 - Russellville, AL
Please join us for a week of serious Bible study. We are inviting men aged 18 and older to come and study God’s word together with us. The men who will present lessons are all devoted to the word of God and to teaching that word to others. The classes will be designed to be a particular help to those who are preachers and teachers but all are welcome to come. Each day we we will have six sessions with each speaker having about an hour to present. Each evening, our speakers will form a panel for a question and answer session. Our plan is to have everyone arrive on Monday evening in time for supper. Our studies will begin on Tuesday morning and go through Friday evening. We have enough room for everyone to stay overnight at the camp location. We will be providing meals and snacks throughout the week. To cover these expenses as well as utilities for the facility, we are charging a $75 fee.

Teen Touring Camp - Idabel, OK
Students ages 13-19 are invited to attend this 5 day traveling camp. Students will be exploring Louisiana from Shreveport to New Orleans. Registration is $300 per student.

Canvas Painting (ages 5-7) M-F 1-4pm - Meadowlark Community Church
Canvas Painting (AGES 5-7 for the PM) Explore the colorful world of paint with teaching artist Deron Cohen (www.deroncohen.com). We will be making at least two paintings over these 5 days. Through step-by-step instruction and demonstration, students will learn how to break down an image into its most basic shapes and transfer those shapes onto the canvas. We will also explore the Imagination as students are guided through a creative process that encourages experimentation while also re-enforcing all of the previous techniques and skills developed. Time permitting, students will be encouraged to make another painting incorporating all the techniques learned throughout the week. Bricks 4 Kidz Early K - Ron Nunn Elementary School
This is a hands-on class where students will design and build machines, catapults, pyramids, derby cars, buildings and other constructions out of LEGO® bricks. SUMMER CAMP WEEK #5 - The REALM
Week 5: Dare to…EXPERIMENT Just as the name implies, this week will be filled with outrageous experiments, slime of all sorts and a wee bit of silliness as we delve into the wacky world of science. Campers will put their lab coats on as they bust myths and create minor explosions... At the end of the week as we study the science of flight, the Realm will hold its second annual kite flying contest on the beach! (310) 399-1139

Pathways from Medieval to Modern Knighthood - Lower School Gym Building G
Campers will learn the ways of the medieval world as they experience a week in the life of a knight in training. Campers will learn about medieval history, mythology, European martial arts, woodcraft, and a whole host of skills necessary for survival in the medieval world on the path to becoming a knight. The foundation of the camp will be learning the knightly art of combat with the two-handed longsword. Campers will use specially constructed training swords with nylon blades and safety equipment to learn the fighting techniques of the German style of longsword combat. Over the week, we will evolve our training to the modern Olympic sword comparing the lives then, and the lives now of modern heroes. Offered in partnership with Midsouth Fencers Club 9194932642.0

Hitting Mini Camp P.M. Session - Rice University Tudor Fieldhouse
Come learn how to become a more effective and powerful hitter. We will cover armswing, approach, hand control, and attacking different tempo sets. *Note: This mini camp will have different drills from the morning session, so those attending both session will not repeat all of the same drills. 713-348-4795
