Heron Afternoon Adventures: Survivor - Brookwood School
This week-long camp will be filled with physical and mental challenges like relay races and problem solving trivia. Arts and crafts activities will also help stimulate the mind using elements of nature from our very own setting at Brookwood. There will be plenty of team-building exercises, including research on helpful and harmful plants and wildlife found in nature. Through the planned activities, campers will build self-esteem and work cooperatively as they gain confidence in exploring the world of nature and the resources around them. 978 525 6244

Wild Things! A Big Zoo Revue - The Georgetown Palace Theatre
The return of a Palace favorite! Filled with animals dancing and singing, Wild Things! A Big Zoo Revue is an inspirational musical trip through the zoo. The humorous and at times very touching lyrics, original and famous poems as optional text for each song and even science activities create a wonderful teaching and learning experience and an awesome performance opportunity! A variety of animals are presented, and every song has a different musical style – such as tango, polka, Caribbean, rock and roll, hip-hop, jazz, big band and speech percussion. Design & construct your own LIFE-SIZE gravity-powered racing car in our fully equipped woodshop. Youll master all of the power, hand tools & equipment needed to construct the wooden body and build in cable steering, a hand break, and wheel axles. CODING Through the use of Code Studio and Scratch students will examine the connections between elements of mathematics and computer science in a fun and engaging environment.
