Science Beach Camp Week 5 - Roundhouse Aquarium
Time: 9am-12pm Ages: 4-10 *pick up and drop off will be on 11th St and Manhattan Ave, near Beckers. Half Day Wk1 - NonRes - Epping Forest Clubhouse
Our morning program lasts from 9am to 12pm, and includes programs for Jellyfish (ages 4-5), Rockfish (ages 6-8) and Blue Crabs (ages 9-12). The morning session typically consists of three 45-60 minute activities that will be exciting and engaging for your children. During each of these time slots we endeavor to provide options for your child, enabling them to do what they like most and empowering them to have the most fun with their day. Activities throughout the day are structured around three main themes including: OUTDOORS (e.g., nature hikes, sailing, water sports, swim skills, kayaking, survival skills), ARTS (e.g., crafts, indian art, tie dyes) and GAMES (e.g., tennis, basketball, dodgeball, beach challenges). Robot Engineer - British International School of Charlotte
Campers will learn about the Science of Robotics with historical information, discoveries and advances in robot technology. Newtons Laws will be emphasized all week and each camper will receive three robot kits to work on. Campers will be able to take home their remote controlled robots! This year, Terrific Scientific will be featuring our Robotic Arm Edge kit and our 7 in 1 Solar Robot kit. In addition to these projects, campers will be learning how to solder with our blinky robot project.
