Teen Sewing Camp: Staple Dress - Lake Charles, LA
The summer is the perfect time for your teen to learn how to sew clothes! The Staple Dress is a fun, beginner first clothing project. In this workshop, we will teach your teen how to read and cut a pattern, and sew a dress of their very own! A basic knowledge of sewing is required for this class. July 21st-22nd: 1pm-5pm (8 hours total) $65 includes pattern and elastic thread. Campers should bring fabric (see chart) and coordinating thread. Campers can bring a snack if desired. Ages 13 and up
CIRRUS MINOR Battling for a slot on SUMMER CAMP 2016! - Des Moines, IA
$5 gets you admission and one vote at this special ALL AGES event, where 4 regional bands (including CIRRUS MINOR) will compete to win a slot on the SUMMER CAMP MUSIC FESTIVAL in Chilicothe, Illinois on Memorial Day Weekend; this would have us playing alongside Mudcrutch (with Tom Petty), Umphrey's McGee, Fishbone, STS9, moe., George Clinton and P-Funk.... and so many more! We need your vote! Also, we need people to help spread the word- we haven't played since October, plus, Joe Corbin (our drummer) will NOT be playing this show with us- he and his wife are expecting a new baby within a couple days of the show- so you will see a Cirrus Minor show unlike any you have seen before... gonna get creative! Unplugged Youth Retreat - East Troy, WI
Time to get away and unplug from the hectic pace of life. This retreat is for youth in 8th grade through 12th grade. Fee is $100. For the first 10 to sign up, receive a $25 discount making it just $75 for a fun faith filled weekend! Camp TImber-lee is a wonderful facility with 600 acres of outdoor space, a toboggan hill and much more. A special band and speaker will engage our time of preparation for Holy week and Easter. Ages 5-6, All levels of experience welcome Two weeks, Mon-Fri Mon June 6-17 12:30 PM-3:00 PM Cost: $165 tuition, $25-$50 off with early registration! Camp will conclude with an informal performance for family and friends. An introductory acting camp for ages 5-6.
