LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Week 6 3 Half Days AM Westport Summer All Sports Camp - Greens Farms Elementary School
For Boys and Girls ages 4-12 We are very excited about our location for the Summer!! This camp offers a combination of traditional sports games like floor hockey, soccer, basketball, flag football, handball, wiffleball, physical education activities such as tag games, pinball, battleship, virtual space tag, north south, gold rush, capture the football, and various cooperative games. We ask that our full day campers bring a (peanut butter free) snack and lunch and water bottle, and our half day campers bring a peanut butter free snack and water bottle. Children are divided by age into small groups and will participate in developmentally appropriate activities for their groups. Generally the groups contain children of no more than a year apart and we do our best to maintain an 8:1 ratio of campers to coaches and sometimes even 6:1 for our youngest groups. I went to Big Lake Youth Camp when I was younger and I always remembered it being the best part of my summer vacation. Now I send my son and he says the same thing. The counselors are super friendly and always helpful to my son. He has made so many new friendships that he’ll keep for many years. 2nd Annual Youth Campout - Middle Fork Wildlife Mgmt Area
Bring your kids, grandchildren, nieces, nephews. WFBCHU 2nd annual youth camp. Friday, September 18: Check in 5 pm. Ride at 6 pm. Hobo dinner assembly upon return from ride. Leave No Trace demonstration during dinner. Guitar music and sing along. Hobo dinners and smores provided by Chapter. Saturday, September 19: Creakfast cooked and provided by Chapter. Service project if applicable. AM ride. Lunch on your own. 2 pm Ponies on Parade. Decorate your horse with animal friendly paint, glitter, ribbons, feathers, etc. We will lead decorated ponies through campground. PM ride if desired. First aid demo. Improv - Hopkins Campus
Move, express and think quickly on your feet! This workshop is full of fun theater games and improvisational activities where students will work collaboratively to create numerous characters and plots and then bring them to life on stage. We will learn and laugh a lot together. We will focus on the process of building an actors skills by using improvisation as the tool for exploration and discovery. Ferry to History - Thursday Camp 4-28-16 - PS87 Afterschool Program
Staten Island Ferry trip & Historic Richmond Town Take a trip on one of the citys oldest attractions as we hop onto the Staten Island Ferry, then continue on to Historic Richmond Town to learn about seventeenth-century life and traditions. Kids will travel to South Ferry by MTA Subway, then board a private bus to historic Richmond Town, and come back by bus, ferry, and subway to PS 87.

Campers will receive an introduction to the fundamentals of tennis. World Cafe Cooking Spanish PK-5 (Friday) - Janney Elementary School
World Café is a great opportunity for our language students to increase their exposure to their target language in a fun Friday afternoon session. Children who arent studying languages at Janney but have some knowl- edge of Spanish, French, or Chinese are also welcome to participate. This session will emphasize cooking. The lessons have been chosen to make language learning fun. Our language teachers will be running the classes. This is a great way to wind down the week and practice language skills! 202-724-8950
