We are so proud to announce that 4RKids Capital Campaign will be hosting the Turkey Trot 5k & fun run on Thanksgiving Day! Route will be through Heritage Hills and Willow West. In this introductory level, juniors learn swing fundamentals, safety, and basic fitness routines. Familiarization with the golf course and facility are also explored in a fun and non-intimidating way. Juniors develop full swing techniques and are introduced to basic chipping and putting methods. Pathways from Medieval to Modern Knighthood - Lower School Gym Building G
Campers will learn the ways of the medieval world as they experience a week in the life of a knight in training. Campers will learn about medieval history, mythology, European martial arts, woodcraft, and a whole host of skills necessary for survival in the medieval world on the path to becoming a knight. The foundation of the camp will be learning the knightly art of combat with the two-handed longsword. Campers will use specially constructed training swords with nylon blades and safety equipment to learn the fighting techniques of the German style of longsword combat. Over the week, we will evolve our training to the modern Olympic sword comparing the lives then, and the lives now of modern heroes. Offered in partnership with Midsouth Fencers Club 9194932642.0

Mini MAT in Flight - Forest Service Park
Explore the air in this returning MAT camp. Campers will construct their very own kites and have a chance to fly them. This week will also include a special airport tour, paper airplane competitions, as well as a ride on the Gondola where we will learn all about paragliding.
