The summer will be gone before we know it, but we are still galloping full speed ahead which is why Tomten Farm and Sanctuary will be offering a special mentoring program to animal loving kids ages 11-16. This unique program is designed for kids with the desire to learn more about the day-to-day operations of an animal sanctuary and get hands on experience with our rescues. Taught by our long term volunteer and intern, UNH Equine Science major, Aileen W., it’s sure to be chock of personal attention, education, hard work, and more animals than you can count. Join us at the farm 2-3 weekdays from July 10th to the 31st, 10:30-2:30 and help us go above and beyond to maintain happy, healthy animals 365 days a year. As always, safety comes first so please wear appropriate footwear and clothing (closed toed, hard shoes, bug spray and sunscreen) and bring a signed release, a copy parent/guardian license or federal ID (feel free to black out addresses, birth dates, and SS or S numbers) drinks, lunch, and an appetite to contribute and get involved with one of your favorite rescues!
