Boys Will Be Boys
Yes, boys will boys and that's why this camp experience was tailor made for our two pre-teens. It seems like they never run out of energy and this was the perfect environment to keep them busy. I also very much liked the ability to check in and see how they were progressing. Each student has at least one part in this fun production, some will have more than one part! Parts are assigned through gentle auditions. Students will also assist in all aspects of the theatrical experience, including costumes, props, backstage, designing programs, and selling tickets. Each day will include breaks for snacks, lunch and outdoor activities. Future Stars Camp Future Stars Camp is a fun introduction to golf fundamentals such as stance, gripping, putting, chipping, pitching and full swing. They will also learn basic golf safety, rules, and etiquette -- all while having fun! The instruction will include game-based teaching methods to reinforce the fun side of golf. Camp Casa is a place for students ages 8-14 of all skill levels to come and participate in professional training in the performing arts. It is a place for beginners to develop their theatrical craft and have fun, as well as a place for the advanced to hone their artistic skills. In addition to rehearsing and producing a full-length show (see below), campers will take classes in acting, music and dance. This years Camp Casa show will be THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE JR. By Gilbert and Sullivan! Camp will be held Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM- 5:00 PM, June 27-July 15 2016. Performances of THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE JR. will be the weekend of July 15-17. The cost of Camp Casa is $1,000, plus a non-refundable $25.00 registration fee. A deposit of at least 10% of the full cost of the camp is due upon registration. The remaining balance is due no later than the first day of Camp (Monday, June 27th). You may cancel your registration up until 5PM on Monday, June 6th.
