Nowadays you're always cautious when it comes to placing your kids in the care of other adults. Thankfully there is Bishop Stoney Camp. One visit was all it took to put my mind at ease. I knew letting our boys go there for soccer camp was a good call. The counselors took good care of them making sure they didn't get into trouble and stayed focus on having wholesome fun. Baby Crow Teen Theatre Camp is a 5 day advanced theatre camp taught by members of NYC theatre company, Baby Crow Productions. The camp runs from July 5th-July 9th from 10am-5pm at 113 W. Lexington on the Independence Square. Tuition is $150 for the whole week. Campers will work with professional teaching artists to develop skills. This summer we offer specialty classes in areas such as, vocal performance, acting, musical theatre, dance, audition technique, and much more! Each class is taught by NYC working professionals and teaching artists from Baby Crow Productions. In addition to a traditional approach to training, our camp will provide campers with the experience of creating their own original work. At the end of the week, campers will have the ability to showcase what they have worked on at a performance for their invited guests. Movin On to Second Grade - Old Trail School
Are you on your way to Second Grade in the Fall? This is the class for you! Come and have fun learning all about Second Grade and the curriculum. Campers will dive into the ocean, fly around the world, plant some seeds, and read and write about many different areas of individual interest. Your child will not only get a taste of second grade but will have a head start on readiness skills to be successful in the fall. See you there!! These 1 or 2 week sessions provide first time sailors aged 7-10 with the basics of sailing in a fun, safe and encouraging environment. Sailors will be using Prams, which are ideal for 2-3 sailors in 1 boat. Students will be taught the points of sail, basics of sailing upwind, downwind and between 2 points, along with sail trim, knot tying and general seamanship. Whether your child is a beginner or advanced player, they will enhance their playing skills while getting a better understanding of the game participating in shooting, passing, and dribbling skills. Camps are directed by LA GALAXY/Autobahn coach Raul Palomares.
