Team/Group skill drills include: team offense/defense, moving without the ball, rebounding/blocking out. LEGO Engineering w/3D Printing (6/13/2016) - BounceU - Apex
Designed to excite kids on engineering by engaging them in logical & creative thinking and out-of-the-box problem solving. this camp will inspire young minds as they explore different technologies through out the week. Campers will power up their engineering skills using LEGOs® and LEGO® Mindstorms® kits, create and execute Stop Motion Videos, introduction to 3D Printing.. Age 5+. 919-303-3368
6th - 9th grade girls: Creative Writing - Saint Marys School
During this camp week, we will have daily practice in following a process which should result in several creative writings projects. Each of the students writing projects will be evaluated. A big part of a successful creative writing class is being able to both give and receive constructive criticism; therefore, participation will be encouraged. Phyllis Monroe is a lover of anything related to language arts: words, phrases, clauses, paragraphs, essays, and formal research. Having taught all age groups- elementary, middle, and high school- she knowa that each grade/student will have different writing abilities; however, all age groups should follow basic guidelines for good writing. Creative writing can be the most enjoyable genre because the focus is less on the mechanics of capitalization and punctuation and more on choosing interesting and unique word choices which represent individual writing styles. 9194244028.0

This camp does not require any prior programming knowledge or experience. JavaScript is a one of the most used, easy to learn, dynamic programming language. In this programming camp, students will first learn the fundamentals of programming and then move on to learn programming concepts using JavaScript including variables, datatype, conditional statements, basic loops, strings, functions etc. 925-659-8000

This mini camp will focus on what it means to be a Presbyterian in todays world. Campers learn about how we understand our faith through an explanation of the Cross and Flame Logo. Included in the week will be all the traditional camp favorite activities like campfires, swimming, 9 - square, crafts, hiking and more. Camp begins at 4 p.m. Sunday and ends at 5 p.m. Tuesday. 859-494-9113
