2016 Summer Clinic Series - Both Days - Gladchuck Field Hockey Complex
Each day will comprise of a 3 hour clinic covering various skills and field hockey concepts along with competitive games. Additionally, on Saturday there will be a 2 hour play session in the late afternoon that will comprise only games. You have the option of signing up for 1 day or for both. The concepts covered each day will be different and the games at the end of each clinic will focus on concepts covered that day. All players will be coached by current Division 1 coaches, as well as current and former Division 1 players. Registration will be limited to the first 150 applicants and is open to players in grades 3-12. Players will be divided into skill groups based on age level and experience level. 413-504-8539

PSAT Prep/Intro to SAT - Middle School
This course is intended for those students who are contemplating taking the PSAT and/or SAT. The course will provide an introduction to the Reading, Writing and Language, Math with calculator, and Math without the calculator portions of the test. Includes instruction and testing. (516) 750-3104

Day Camp Session II - St. Johns Country Day School
Excitement awaits the day campers, ages 4 - 13, as they report to their air-conditioned cabins, located on the campus of St. Johns. Grouped by age and supervised by trained, full-time counselors, the campers safety and enjoyment are the primary concerns of each staff member. We also offer a specialized self-contained summer camp program for four year olds. Campers will be under the supervision of our certified Lower School teachers. Activities include arts and crafts, music and movement, outdoor fun, and story time. Children that wish to participate in our four-year-old program must turn four years of age before June 10, and be potty trained. Children need to bring lunch and a change of clothes. Campers enjoy the use of St. Johns 26-acre campus, including its outdoor athletic fields and play equipment, shower and locker facilities, fine arts resources, 25-yard swimming pool, computer labs, and air-conditioned gymnasiums. All campers through grade 4 have swim lessons. Standard guidelines are used to establish swimming levels, and parents receive a report at the end of each two-week session. DMSA Boys & Girls Day Academy - University of North Florida
The DMSA Day Academy has established itself as North Floridas Premier Summer Soccer Day Camp. It is specifically designed to teach skills, tactics, and fundamentals of soccer. This will be accomplished by individual instruction by our highly qualified coaching staff and age-specific curriculum. The environment will emphasize fun. Every camper will receive a DMSA T-shirt and water bottle for each camp attended as well as one soccer ball. Beginning Writing Camp for Grades K-8 - Slauson Middle School
Beginning Writing Camp 6th year for this popular & well respected camp ! Turn your rough draft into a brilliant masterpiece in this enriching writing camp. Using the Writers workshop research-based curriculum, campers learn and then refine their writing skills. Writers create their own publishing company, then plan, write, illustrate and produce an amazing picture book. Each writer has an individual writing conference, that helps them gain insight and confidence into their self-expression. Discussions may include qualities of good writing, overcoming writers block, writing motivation, craft of writing, anti-bias and multicultural themes and much more. Children are exposed to a wide range of literature, are taught to use author studies, and gain other strategies to help their work shine. An art exploration component may include graphic design; value study; use of color, drawing and illustration; and experimenting with collage, watercolor, colored pencil and more. Writers and illustrators display their work in an exciting award ceremony and potluck. Campers plan this Friday activity to show off their work to parents and friends.
