We sent our 5 year old son and our 10 year old daughter to Liberty Lake Day Camp. This camp is for children ages 4 to 15. The aim of the camp is to teach children skills that will make them successful in life. Some of the areas campers focus on include: teamwork, friendship, independence and confidence. Summer Kids/Teen CrossFit Camp - Gig Harbor, WA
Join us for the kick off to our Summer Kids/Teen CrossFit Camp. We will be doing baseline measurements to test speed, explosiveness, and strength. Then re test every 5 weeks. A makeup test will be performed on Tuesday, Maybe 21st at 4:30pm. Your child should arrive on time, with proper attire and footwear. Flat bottom shoes are preferred for lifting. They should be well hydrated and have eaten. They should also bring a water bottle. We have water to fill their bottles, but will not provide cups. We will go the full hour each day. We will split out time between inside and outside, so sunscreen may be needed. Parents and driving teens, please drive careful when coming up Foster, especially across the Cushman trail cross walk. Also, be aware of clients from classes before and after the camp coming and going. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot and across the street in the grassy field.
Mariapoch Teen Campout - Burton, OH
Teens ages 13-18--join us for a weekend of prayer and fun during the 60th annual pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Mariapoch in Burton, Ohio, Aug. 1-2, 2015. For the schedule, more information and to register, visit www.parma.org. To participate in this chaperoned campout program, you must submit a release form and payment by July 20. Non-contact rugby is a modified version of the traditional tackle version of the game and is an excellent way to introduce the sport to new or young players.
