Studio Art w/Painting Studio, Ages 8-9 - The Yard School of Art At Montclair Art Museum
SummerART Camp Full Day Studio Art Program 9:30am to 5pm Studio Art with Painting Studio Elective Session I: June 27 to July 8 No camp on Monday, July 4 Studio Art Camp The American Life: Paleo to the Present This session will explore what life was like in the Americas throughout history, from when the dinosaurs roamed to modern times. Campers will go on a journey throughout a variety of American cultures and civilizations, learning about their daily lives, legends and stories, and art forms. Visits to MAMs newly installed Native American collection will be included to provide a closer look and inspiration. Travel from the prehistoric to the present in this whimsical tour throughout time. Young Scientist (HALF DAY ONLY) - San Juan Del Rio Catholic School
This is our HALF DAY option for Young Scientist. This stimulating camp offers an incredible collection of projects and experiments that will amuse and amaze your little scientist! By being involved with several hands-on activities your child will explore the basic scientific ideas that play a role in everyday life. Campers will also learn how the scientific method helps give us the answers to our many questions. Well be very busy in this camp while exploring projects and experiments in topics such as chemistry, physics, engineering, biology, and MORE! This camp is perfect for the most curios little scientists, ages 4 and 5. Sample Projects: Glowing firefly, Seashell necklace, Slime Creation, Water Bottle Rocketry. Minecraft 3D Supreme – Ages 8+ - Goleta Presbyterian Church
Not for beginners! This camp is for campers who have been playing Minecraft. Minecraft™ has taken the world by storm with its block-building, digital game design that allows players to build, explore, create, collaborate, and even survive. With no set rules, you can build anything you can possibly imagine. During this 4-day adventure, campers will learn different modes of playing. They will use cool mods as they escape monsters, build amazing structures, create maps, mine the world under their feet, climb the tallest mountains, and utilize robotic turtles to manipulate the vast world around them. They will learn real coding techniques to program their turtles to accomplish tasks while working as a team with other campers to unleash their creativity! Campers take on the real-world jobs of programmer, game designer, artist, and architect. NO Minecraft account is needed for THIS CAMP as we have licenses ready for use. This camp is a campers ticket to the world of Veterinary Medicine. Lessons will give campers the opportunity to look into the real and exciting field of Veterinary Medicine. Campers will meet practitioners in the field, vets, pet groomers, dog trainers and be involved with several hands-on experiments! Each camper will receive their very own medical kit!
