Come explore the treasured rivers and waterfalls of western North Carolina! In this session, practice boating on our lake, slide down a natural rock cascade, spend the afternoon tubing along a lazy river, hike through DuPont State Park and explore the waterfalls where the Hunger Games movie was filmed. You and your group will still have plenty of time for campfires and smores as well. Due to the nature of this program, girls must be able to swim 25 yards and tread water non-stop for two minutes in order to participate. 336-274-8491

Hosted this month by Camp Barnabas, providing us a FREE lunch at their office location in Springfield! Leaders will have the opportunity to "connect" with other youth leaders in ministry, and to share ideas and resources! Bring printed material on events you would like to promote to share with the group. You will hear about some great opportunities for ministry through this camp for special needs students. This will also be our "elections" business session at 11:15 prior to lunch. All voting members are encouraged to be present. Also, those who want may join the Coordinator to be praying for our campuses, students, and leaders about 30 min. prior to the start. Fueled - Jr. High / Sr. High Retreat - Oak Hill Christian Service Camp
Cant wait until summer to hang out with your camp friends? Now you dont have to - sign up for our new Jr/Sr High Retreat on April 22-23. Youll be challenged by the theme of FUELED: BY GRACE. FOR OBEDIENCE. There will also be awesome worship, some engaging classes on a variety of topics, and of course all the things you love about camp: recreation, camp fire, friends, and all around fun. This is also a great opportunity to introduce your friends to camp who might not want to jump into a whole week - bring them for a short weekend and help them get their feet wet at Oak Hill. JUMP START SPORTS- ALL PRO FOOTBALL CAMP(FULL-DAY) - Ben Robertson Community Center
The All Pro Football Camp teaches campers the basic fundamentals of football in an atmosphere that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork and the joy of sports. This camp is ideal for children who have never played organized football, as well as those who have played youth football for several years. In addition to learning fundamentals, techniques and strategies of the sport, campers will participate in flag football games every day as well as fun games and contests such as ?Punt, Pass, and Kick? and ?NFL Fast Football?. All equipment will be provided. Join anytime during the week (fee will be pro-rated). Multi-Camp Discount: Register for two or more full-day Jump Start Sports Camps and receive a $15 discount off the registration fee for the second and each subsequent camp. Supplies: Campers should bring a packed lunch with a beverage, snacks and plenty of water each day. All campers should arrive at camp with sunscreen already applied, as well as with additional sunscreen, as needed. We recommend a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30. Renewable energy is the wave of the future! Using exciting hands-on LEGO® MINDSTORMS® components and renewable energy add-ons, campers explore and understand renewable energy sources, including: solar energy, wind energy and hydro energy, as well as the functionality and capability of solar cells, wind turbines and hydro-electric power plants. Theyll explore energy supply, transfer, accumulation, conversion and consumption; design and build models and observe the behavior of their models. This is an advanced robotics course and campers should have some experience working with LEGO® MINDSTORMS® components. Campers with no experience should attend Camp Deep Space Robotics. Parents are invited to join us on Fridays Family Day to view their childs creations. At the end of the week, campers will build a salt water powered vehicle to take home. 7047743016.0
